"Mrs. Cindy" (as she is known when she's diving) presents a personal perspective of Caribbean reef and island life. Her narrative reads like a letter to students, and includes answers to questions kids have asked her in the past.
The PowerPoint slide show also serves as a great informal assessment: woven throughout the show are coral reef biology and ecology tie-ins. Students will be asked to identify the creatures, behaviors, and adaptations that they see. (A printable guide for students to go with the presentation will be available for download)
